     Parents are too busy with work, children board at school. How can accommodation issues reassure parents?
     To solve the difficult problem of family-school interaction for many left-behind children, Dejiang County No. 2 Middle School has fully upgraded its teaching and living facilities this year, joining hands with Guantek Technology, using Internet big data, and actively building a smart campus.

Dejiang County No. 2 Middle School is located at the foot of Ma'an Mountain in the northern suburbs of the county seat. At its inception, with only 6 classrooms and 2 simple shed offices, it welcomed its first batch of students and embarked on a difficult journey of running a school. In August 1992, the school moved to the former site of Dejiang Normal School. In 2016, in order to effectively improve educational conditions and enhance education quality, the Dejiang County Party Committee and County Government invested 255 million yuan to plan and construct the new Dejiang No. 2 Middle School with high standards, and achieved the overall relocation in August 2018. Since 2021, Dejiang No. 2 Middle School has introduced big data, making the teaching and accommodation environment gradually intelligent.

Campus Management System: Building Digital and Intelligent Teaching

Nowadays, the newly built Dejiang No. 2 Middle School covers an area of 200 mu, with a total building area of 76,000 square meters and a green area of 15,600 square meters. Currently, the school has 70 teaching classes, 3,874 students, and 269 faculty members. The qualification rate of full-time teachers' academic credentials reaches 100%, including 1 foreign English teacher and 4 Japanese teachers. The school uses the campus management system from Guanzhong Technology to achieve big data monitoring of student statistics, class management, teaching task status, and homework distribution, thereby improving teaching quality and learning outcomes.

Through the campus management system, home-school information interaction can be carried out, and school affairs can be queried on demand. Facial recognition is used when students arrive at or leave school, and the big data center automatically feeds back the information of students' arrival or departure to parents. Teachers can also use the system to inform parents of students' performance, attendance, grades, and consumption, allowing parents to easily grasp their children's dynamics at school. At the same time, the campus management system allows parents to remotely understand their children's learning, life, and rest conditions. If a child is sick and needs to take leave, parents can sign remotely; parents are informed of their children's academic performance as soon as possible; through dormitory schedule data, reminders can be analyzed and sent to children to pay attention to rest.

Dormitory voice-controlled paging system: bring tranquility back to the dormitory

If teachers do not rest well, it will affect teaching; if students do not rest well, it will affect learning. In order to better supervise students' regular rest and reduce teachers' workload, Dejiang No. 2 Middle School cooperated with Guanbiao Technology to jointly build a dormitory voice-controlled paging system based on the actual campus management, promoting cloud computing and other new technologies to lead smart campus management.
"This smart management system has really been a great help to our campus management." said the director of the Information Center. In the past, the school specially set up a supervision group to ensure students rest better. However, with more than 600 dormitories and over 3,000 students in the whole school, it was impossible to manage them all, and the effect was not ideal. Especially at night, teachers who had just finished their evening self-study sessions were already exhausted, but they still had to go to the dormitories to check whether students were resting on time.

Dejiang No.2 Middle School has applied the dormitory voice-controlled paging system to the smart management of student dormitories. Through continuous exploration and attempts, the school has controlled the noise level in student dormitories to 55 decibels. That is, from 12:30 to 14:00 every day and from 23:30 to 2:35 the next morning, the set decibel value is 55, and the system automatically collects data every ten seconds. If the noise in a certain dormitory exceeds 55 decibels, the dormitory receiver will transmit the information through the dormitory voice-controlled paging system to dormitory management staff, class teachers, the school information management center, and the school leaders in charge. The management staff can then go to the student dormitory to check according to the system prompt, or use the mobile phone paging system to send a voice message to that dormitory point-to-point, warning the students who make noise, thus restoring peace to the campus.

The campus management system and the dormitory voice-activated paging system are just the beginning of smart campus construction. In the future, Guantek Technology will collaborate with more schools to explore smart campuses under big data, giving parents peace of mind, making teachers comfortable, and helping children win the future.
