The Museum of the 13th Division and Xinxing City is located on the East Road of Wuxing Avenue in Xinxing City. It has a total construction area of 5,951 square meters and an exhibition area of over 30,000 square meters. It has received hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the country and serves as a Corps-level patriotic education base for reclamation and border defense, a Corps-level research and study practice education base for primary and secondary school students, a Corps-level legal publicity and education base, a Party spirit education base for the 13th Division, a youth Corps spirit education base for the 13th Division, and a Hami Red Star spirit education base.
Since 2023, the Thirteenth Division Xincheng Museum has introduced rental cabinets from Guantong Technology to provide visitors with self-service audio guide devices. Stepping into the Thirteenth Division Xincheng Museum, historical artifacts, old photographs, and vintage objects tell stories of distant memories... Here, visitors can enter the hall of red culture, view cultural relics and sites of historical value, and feel the hardship and glory of that history in every corner of the red venue.
The Museum of the 13th Division and Xinxing City records the history of the Corps' pioneering and development, and houses many youthful stories of the military reclamation soldiers. More than sixty years ago, these passionate young people responded to the call of the motherland, rushed to guard the border, dedicated their youth, dedicated their lives, and dedicated their descendants.
The museum's exhibition is carefully designed with six sections: the preface hall, "Eastern Land, Rising New Star," "Golden Iron Horses, Beacon Fire Red Star," "Reclamation and Border Defense, Vast Sea Red Star," "Leader's Navigation, New Star Brilliant," and the tail hall, as well as a special exhibition area of "Red Memory." It displays more than 1,000 pieces of military reclamation cultural relics and over 400 photographs, including unearthed artifacts, revolutionary relics, documents, and image materials, forming a relatively complete collection series.
The exhibition, through the combined application of various media technologies such as cultural relics, reliefs, artworks, lighting, and multimedia, showcases the glorious journey of the 13th Division and Xinxing City and its predecessor troops; and the self-service guide machines rented by Guanyu Technology bring the exhibited cultural relics and history in the museum to life, telling visitors more clearly and deeply the stories of the Corps' sons and daughters, who, with their youth, passion, and lives, condensed the Corps spirit of "loving the motherland, selfless dedication, arduous entrepreneurship, and pioneering enterprising" and the brilliant achievements made in various undertakings of the division and the city.
