       Recently, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology issued a document recognizing the "Guangdong Provincial Digital Wireless Audio (Guangbiao) Engineering Technology Research Center" as a provincial-level engineering technology research center. This certification is the first time Guangdong Province has issued recognition for an engineering technology research center in the field of digital wireless audio.       In 2021, the application requirements for Guangdong Provincial Engineering Technology Research Centers stipulate that the supporting unit must have strong scientific and technological innovation capabilities in its industry and field. For enterprise units, the main business revenue in the previous year must be over 50 million yuan, and the R&D expenditure in the previous year must be no less than 1.5 million yuan and not less than 3% of the main business revenue (if the R&D expenditure exceeds 30 million yuan, this proportion restriction is not applicable). For higher education institutions applying, they must rely on provincial "strengthening, supplementing, and enhancing" key disciplines or brand majors and high-level professional groups, and the total R&D expenditure in this field over the past 3 years must be no less than 10 million yuan. For scientific research institutes, the total R&D expenditure in this field over the past 3 years must be no less than 10 million yuan. In terms of scientific research conditions, the supporting unit is required to have good basic scientific research conditions, comprehensive capabilities for engineering R&D, design, and testing, as well as necessary venues and R&D equipment for experiments, testing, and analysis (excluding production equipment), with the original value of R&D equipment not less than 3 million yuan. It must have high-level technical leaders and engineering technical teams. For units in the Pearl River Delta region, the number of full-time scientific research personnel must be no less than 20; for units in eastern, western, and northern Guangdong, the number must be no less than 10. Among them, personnel with a bachelor's degree (or above) or intermediate professional titles (or above) must account for no less than 50% of the total full-time scientific research personnel. In terms of scientific research achievements, the supporting unit is required to conduct research on key common technologies in this field, have a high level of achievement output and transformation, and possess more than 5 independent intellectual property rights. Among them, higher education institutions and scientific research institutes must have led or participated in provincial-level or above scientific research projects in this field in the past 3 years, and have produced no less than 3 landmark achievements through industry-university-research cooperation with enterprises.
