Guangbiao Technology Wins Excellent Enterprise Award at the Finals of China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

Guangbiao Technology is honored to win the Excellent Enterprise Award at the 8th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Electronic Information Finals) in 2019. Ranked among the top 32, with 7,500 participating companies, the 2019 8th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Electronic Information Industry Finals was held from October 29 to October 31 at the Hengfeng Haiyue International Hotel in Bao'an District, Shenzhen. Among the 219 growth-stage companies participating in the finals, Guangbiao Technology ranked fourth in its group, placed in the top 32 teams, and won the Excellent Enterprise Award.
A total of 30,287 enterprises participated in this China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. Among them, nearly 7,500 enterprises competed in the electronic information industry, an increase of more than 400 compared with last year, making it the track with the largest growth among the six industries in the competition. After the layer-by-layer selection of 37 local competitions, 289 enterprises were finally shortlisted for the finals of the electronic information industry: among them, 219 enterprises in the growth group were divided into 8 groups, with the top 11 in each group's semifinal results receiving the Excellence Award and the top 2 advancing to the finals; 70 enterprises in the startup group were divided into 3 groups, with the top 9 in each group's semifinal results receiving the Excellence Award and the top 2 advancing to the finals. Leaders including Zhang Mu, Deputy Director of the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Huang Zhen, Deputy Director of the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission, Xue Qiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Bao'an District Committee, and Lou Yanfeng, Deputy District Mayor, as well as more than 500 investors, entrepreneurs, media reporters, and representatives of participating enterprises attended the opening ceremony.
In this competition, there were over 10,000 high-tech enterprises and technology-based SMEs, with electronic information accounting for the highest proportion among the six major industries, making it the main force of this year's technology-based innovation and entrepreneurship. From the statistical analysis of the competition data, the finals of the electronic information industry have become a gathering place for hardcore technology. The shortlisted projects involve technical fields such as 5G applications, the Internet of Things, smart chips, AR/VR, smart hardware, communications, and big data cloud platforms, with technical applications covering industries including industry, agriculture, medical care, education, security, transportation, and culture. It can be said that elites and strong competitors gathered here. Guantong Technology participated in the semifinals held on October 30 with the project "Breaking through the kilometer-level sound transmission technology to realize the industrialization of digital wireless audio transmission," and was placed in Growth Group 7, which consisted of 27 enterprises. Guantong Technology appeared as the 9th presenter according to the draw. Each enterprise was given 8 minutes for defense, elaborating on their respective companies and projects from aspects such as technology, market, business model, team, finance, and financing needs; the judges' questioning time was 7 minutes.

After a full day of intense competition from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, a total of 289 participating teams successfully completed the semifinals. Guantek Technology achieved fourth place in Group 7 of the Growth Group, ranking among the top 32 in the Electronic Information Industry Finals of the China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and received the Outstanding Enterprise Award.
As an enterprise selected by the Guangxi Region, Guantek Technology's award this time is also the first enterprise in Guangxi to receive the Outstanding Enterprise Award in the Growth Group of the 2019 China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, bringing honor to Guangxi in this high-intensity, high-tech competition with strong competitors and numerous returnees in the Electronic Information Industry Finals of the National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.
In the finals held on October 31, Saisi Technology from Jiaxing, Zhejiang, won the national championship in the Growth Group with its high-precision clock chip project, while Shenzhen's Lingming Photon won the national championship in the Startup Group with its single-photon detection chip project.
