In order to further promote museum culture and cultivate high-end talents in the cultural heritage system, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage launched the 2017 National Cultural Heritage System Cultural and Creative Industry High-end Talent Training Program. The training lasted six days, with course training from September 11 to 14, and field visits on September 15 and 16.

On September 10, nearly 70 representatives from museums across 20 regions in China, including the Beijing Museum of Natural History, the Overseas Chinese History Museum of China, the Shanghai Lu Xun Memorial Hall, the Xiamen Museum, the Guangdong Provincial Museum, the China (Hainan) Museum of the South China Sea, the Lijiang Museum, and the Tibet Museum, checked in and stayed at the Jinfeng Hotel in Pu'er City, Yunnan Province.

On the morning of the 11th, the training program held its opening ceremony. All trainees took a group photo in front of the hotel, and then the training courses began.
